Carol is Principle Consultant at TA Solutions with over 20 years in senior level positions leveraging sales,marketing, sourcing strategies, and business and technological strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs for startups and industry leaders in Healthcare, Insurance, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Banking and Financial Services such as WNS Global Services, BSC, Insigma US, Inc., Sybase, Financial Fusion, Aetna, CIGNA Healthcare and Pharmacy, Merck/Medco Health Solutions, , CGS, TriZetto and CSC.

Carol has successfully lead global and cross-functional teams to aggressively increase revenues, deliver scalable, flexible, cost-effective product platforms, application frameworks, infrastructure and operational services.

Carol is responsible for providing management consulting expertise to Global clients in the health, life science, banking and financial services industries; developing business and technology strategies to improve outcomes and increase revenues.

Carol attended Post University earning a B.S. in Finance/MIS in 1998 cum laude, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where she earned a MBA in Management and International Business in 2003 with honors and presented with the Robert Cole Award from the Lally School of Management and Technology.  

Carol is an Adjunct Professor at Charter Oak State College in Connecticut, Advisor at RPI Greater China Business Club (RiC) at Rensselaer Polytechnica Institute, and is active in her community as President of the Rensselaer Hartford Chapter Alumni Board and a Board Member of the Hartford Preservation Alliance in Hartford, Connecticut.

Michael M. Thorney - Management Consultant
Michael is a Management Consultant at TA Solutions and has over 25 years experience in the Sales, Marketing, and Business Process Improvement, Quality, Environmental Risk Management, Auditing, Supply Chain Management, Performance Measurement, e-Commerce, and Lean Manufacturing.

Michael’s exposure to the corporate world has put him in contact with many of the decision makers in America and Canada's Fortune 500 Companies

Michael has conducted and managed multiple concurrent projects, providing expert technical and methodological direction to support process flow improvements and certification based on Management Standards. Coordinate with technical staff to ensure that all aspects of work are consistent with industry best practices and procedures. Develop and implement standards, management system assurance requirements, and compliance to budget and schedule. Coordinate with contractor management, other contractor technical specialists and government project managers to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction.

Michael is a graduate a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, and has graduated from the US Air Force Academy, an Environmental Management System Lead Auditor, Quality Management System Lead Auditor, and an Accredited Competency Based Trainer for Environmental Management System, Quality Management System, and Root Cause Analysis RABQSA Training Course

Angela Jakilazek, PHEc - Consultant (HACCP, GMP & ISO)
Angela Jakilazek is a consultant for TA Solutions providing Business Process Improvement, Quality Assurance, and Auditing expertise to a variety of our clients with a focus on Food and Agricultural Industries. Her primary focus has been with food manufacturing companies in the design of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (H.A.C.C.P.) Food Safety Program, including the development of Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P.’s). 

Prior to TA SOLUTIONS, Angela has worked as the Quality Assurance Manager in two leading Winnipeg based manufacturing companies where she implemented the ISO 9001: 2000 and HACCP programs. In those roles, she took full responsibility for the design and execution of the programs. This included providing training in food safety, process improvement, allergens and sanitation to production employees and at the management level. In addition she has developed programs to assist in streamlining projects and building transparency in the organization to better improve the efficiency. Angela has assisted companies in the design and implementation of their own ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP programs in the areas of Feed Manufacturing, Pea Processing and Hatchery Operations. 

She is a graduate with a Bachelor of Human Ecology in Foods and Nutrition and an Active Member of the Manitoba Association of Home Economists where she interacts with many professionals in the corporate and government sectors.  She currently holds a Certificate in HACCP training, including allergen training and GMP’s and is working toward her ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor Training and Lean Manufacturing Certificate in the upcoming months.
